Mike Boyle is one of the foremost experts in the field of Strength and Conditioning. Mike worked as the Head S&C coach for Boston University for 15 years before starting one of the first sports performance gyms in the country. He has worked with the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins, USA Hockey, and thousands upon thousands of athletes across every sport including soccer players like Heather O’Reilly.   1. Awesome takeaways here! I’ve followed Mike’s content for years as my primary role is perf enhancement. HR, muscle function, monitoring, etc. — too often practitioners look in isolation without integration. The game is not played in a vacuum so training should address certain qualities in an integrative approach to ensure players are “ready” for the demand of the “game.”
